Missouri Doesn’t Want Any Fully Autonomous Trucks Driving in the State

A proposed bill by a Missouri lawmaker states that no autonomous vehicles will be allowed on Missouri’s roads unless there is a licensed operator on board. The operator must have a valid license from this country, is trained in the operation of the autonomous vehicle, and is watching the vehicle’s performance and is available to take over immediately if necessary. Violating these terms will result in a fine of $1000.
