EPA Pushing Forward with the Cleaner Trucks Initiative

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator has signed and released a draft proposing details to continue the reduction of heavy-truck emissions beginning in 2027. The EPA is trying to align the standards for NOx with Phase 2 CO2 standards and is calling it the Cleaner Trucks Initiative. They are hoping to make truck engines more efficient and reduce the amount of emissions they generate.
