Congress Might Advertise for the Transportation Industry

The Promoting Service in Transportation Act has been introduced by three members of the House. This act would approve an ad campaign costing up to $30 million that would promote the transportation industry. Angie Craig of Minnesota, Rick Larsen of Washington, and Don Young of Alaska are the three House members stating that there is a need for more truck drivers, airline pilots, air traffic controllers, and railroad workers.

With the trucking industry lacking drivers, this act would also target women and minorities to further increase diversity within the industry.
