The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is asking for comments about a proposed rule. They seek the public’s interest in allowing Camera Monitoring Systems to replace rearview mirrors on light and heavy trucks. With people’s comments and their prior research, they are hoping to figure out if cameras can provide the same safety level as mirrors. Submit your comments before December 9.
