A concern about small moves and ELD violations came up during FMCSA’s public listening session at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas. Since the ELDs became a mandate, there have been a lot of truck drivers out there who are getting violations for moving their trucks short distances for law enforcement, shippers, or anyone else who would like them to move their trucks. With these concerns, or coincidentally, the FMCSA announced that they will host a public meeting regarding ELDs in September.
