Truckers in Missouri don’t want Autonomous Trucks in Their State

In Jefferson City, Mo., truck drivers gathered outside the Capitol building to help push for a new bill that would not allow driverless trucks in Missouri. After many states have allowed autonomous trucks to drive on their roads, Missouri was next in line, but the truckers have a different opinion. Truckers in Missouri fear this would put them out of jobs and there would be bigger safety issues out there on the road. A state representative is currently working on a bill that stops autonomous trucks from not being able to drive on any of Missouri’s roads.
