Recently lawmakers presented four bills that outlined proposals to raise money for repairing Michigan’s roads. One of the bills would create an unknown toll amount on bridges which were not named. Another bill would put a vehicle-miles-traveled tax on trucks weighing at lease 26,000 pounds. After hearing from Michigan residents, they are asking for accountability to those vehicles who do the most damage.
