California to Have Zero-Emission Trucks by 2045

California made a bold move and has set the standard for pollution regulation for trucks. The California Air Resources Board has made a rule that by 2045, all new trucks sold in California will be zero-emission. Diesel trucks are major polluters and with the advancements made with electric cars, it’s only fitting that trucks get an emissions makeover as well. Along with electric cars, this requirement towards zero-emission trucks will help California meet its climate goals and help lower the air pollution that is engulfing the state.
