The Surry Community College in Dobson, North Carolina, has had its largest graduating class of truckers. Last December, 20 new truckers graduated and joined the trucking industry. The Truck Driver Training Program offered at SCC teaches new drivers the ins and outs of being a successful and safe truck driver. The next session of classes for this program starts March 19, runs through May 22, and tuition is $1,881.
