In Klamath Falls, the Klamath Community College and Aisling Truck Academy have teamed up to put more people behind the wheels of big trucks. The 5-week long program combines classroom instruction and hands-on driving. This program teaches students the necessary skills to earn a Class A driver’s license, the business side of driving a commercial vehicle, and the federal laws involved. With plans of expanding this program into other areas, they are hoping to help fill the empty seats of local trucks.
