In Waterloo, Iowa, Ruan Transportation is teaming up with Hawkeye Community College to put military veterans behind the wheels of its trucks. A truck driving simulator was donated by Ruan to the college for an apprenticeship program and after a 12-week program, the veterans will then work for Ruan.
