J.B. Hunt, one of the largest supply chain solutions providers in North America, finished off 2019 with two company-first achievements that are rare accomplishments in the trucking industry.

Phil Fortin, an intermodal driver out of California, reached five million safe miles by December. This is a rare achievement to accomplish as a truck driver and a first at J.B. Hunt. Fortin drove his first million safe miles with the company in 1984 and has been driving safely ever since.

Also in December, J.B. Hunt hired its 10,000th veteran since 2014. Now, veterans make up 15% of their employees throughout the company. J.B. Hunt has programs that help veterans transition from service to a career within the company. Click the link below to find out more about these achievements.
