This Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., truck drivers from throughout Washington state will show off their skills and compete to see who is the best of the best. Put on by the WTA (Washington Trucking Associations), the state’s Truck Driving Championship competition will be held at Reddaway Trucking in Tacoma.
Participating truck drivers will have to take a written test, perform an inspection, and drive their way through an obstacle course while showing off their skills. Winners in nine truck classifications will advance to the national championships in Pittsburgh in August. Feel free to come to the driving course and watch as it is open to spectators.
