NATSO Urges CDC to Designate Truck Stops as Vaccination Sites

NATSO (previously National Association of Truck Stop Operators), trucking fleets, and drivers are urging the CDC to use truck stops and travel plazas as designated vaccination sites. Truck stops and plazas are all over the country and would have an immediate impact on the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine to truckers and truck stop employees. Also on board with this idea are the American Trucking Associations, Truckload Carriers Association, St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, and others. Truckers should be at the top of the list of those that receive the vaccine due to the essential nature of their job and the need throughout the country for the supplies they are delivering.
