Minnesota Trucker Relies on Life Time Gyms as Second Home out on the Road

Carlos Soto, a truck driver out of Little Canada, Minnesota makes it a point to schedule his runs so he ends up at one of the 150 Life Time locations around the country. In the beginning, Soto was wondering if becoming a truck driver was bad for his health as he saw those around him eating unhealthy foods and not taking care of their bodies. Now, he makes it a point to take care of himself and not skip out on a workout.

In 2010, Soto joined Life Time where some of the clubs are open 24 hours. They also have large parking lots and Soto has no problem getting his big rig in or out of them. He’s got most of the appliances he needs in his sleeper cab but the gym provides a bathroom and shower he can use. During this pandemic, a lot of rest stops have closed their showers to the public so this is a good alternative. This sounds like a good way for a trucker to get some exercise and find a clean place to rest for the night. Click the link below to learn more about this.
